With the NHL strike last year, we turned it into a general sports pool. According to the archives, the first of these internet hockey pools was in 1997. So this is the tenth. Good lord. I am getting old on the internet. Anyway, what kind of pool do you want? Who is in? Cricket questions? More points for goons given the tighter rules? What? What?

... there is automatic promotion only for the top team and automatic relegation for the bottom placed team. The teams which are placed 2nd, 3rd and 4th enter into a play-off with the team which is 9th in the First Division, and the team which is placed 9th enters into a similar play-off with the teams which are placed 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the Third Division.

Who do I have to kill to get the LA Kings into the playoffs? 4 points out with 5 games left(and they got drubbed 6-0 by SJ last night). Oh the shame in being a hockey fan from So California( The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim AND the 'we can't win a playoff series if we sold our souls to Satan' LA Kings.). Sigh. Can I be adopted by a good team?
