I think I am trying to convince myself on this one:
- When you get up before sunrise, you can pick listen to the morning show in Iowa on 1040 WHO Des Moines. and learn that hogs are up a dime.
- slow roasted root vegetables are within the realm of possibility.
- you don't have to be vacation planning as no one travels in October and November.
- sherry.
- autumn is not winter and somewhere around October 23rd to November 5th you will say "hey, it hasn't snowed yet...it ain't that bad."
- baseball concludes, hockey starts.
- apples.

Good list. Especially the apples, and of course all that go with them: apple pie, apple crumble, apple cider... mmmm.

no one travels in October
Well, no one other than those of us heading eastward for Thanksgiving in lieu of Christmas. Though I suppose that's not really a vacation, is it? Then again, it depends on your definition of vacation. As long as I'm not cooking, it's a vacation.
