We first met Rudy's last year when we travelled over to Oswego to check out the fort and see at where that steam cloud and those flashing lights were coming from. Yesterday we had dinner again there and were again impressed. While the clams were not what you could get at a coastal shack like Sea Swirl, it was about one third the price and the staff were as good, fast and patient with the crowd as I have ever seen in a take out. But it is the view, the sunset, the rocks as well as Rudy's itself that makes the place and it's only two hours into the States from my house.

I was so pleased to see Rudy's is still there. I went to Campus School back in the 60's. The school bus always went by Rudy's and my mom and dad loved taking us there. Mom is 87 now and she talks about the fish sanwiches and Texas hots often. We lived on Perry Hill accross from Sabins farm .Many great memories. Hope to get back to taste one of those fish sandwiches again. I live in Miami now. Nothing comes close.
