Here is another great New York Times baseball photo of Roy Oswalt pitching for the win in Game 6 of the National League Championship which sent the Houston Astros to the World Series. It was taken by John Sommers II of Reuters. I wonder if you did not know baseball whether you would know what is happening in the picture, without the arm being shown? He has captured the calm of his face, the steady eye with the black of the hat glove and belt balancing his posture. The hat to the green is in the ying to the yang of the ball over the shadow.
I think Oswalt will play a major role in winning the World Series for the Astros if the gods and their dice rolls play it out that way. He is that magic thing - the third great starting pitcher on a team. After facing starters like Roger Clements and Andy Pettitte, you would think you get a break. But the White Sox are loaded as well. It could be a great World Series - not something you get every year.

Exciting to have 2 good teams in the Series that havn't been there before, or since the Eisenhower years.
