Ever since I saw him laugh at a man whose leg he just broke on purpose, I have not had a warm feeling about Roy Keane, captain of Man U, shown right in deep thought.
How odd, though, to read he has ubruptly quit the team, just when they were working on chipping away at Chelsea's previously thought insurmountable lead in the League. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy or team.

There's a BBC Scotland show called "2000 Acres of Sky". A main character dies at the end of the series. A while later, some kids are at the shoreline, watching the seabirds and the seals and wondering if one was a reincarnation of the deceased. The dead guy's father is with them and the kids ask him "If you could come back as anything, who would it be?" He responds, "David Beckham". "No!" say the kids, "it has to be an animal!" "Roy Keane", says the father. 8-)
