I've been laying around moaning and groaning and lapsing in and out of consciousness all weekend after the effects of a flu shot - I think it's the flu shot - hit me. I napped on pretty much every upholstered surface in the house. I never got a flu shot until last year when it was all in the news and my doctor gave me the look like I was a whimp and a burden on the system. I was quite content to get a baddish cold every year and snooze beside stacks of magazines, kleenex boxes and remote controls for a few days. There is a lot to be said for snoozing and a bit of a bug should be taken advantage off to let you have that snooze. Efficiency has only so much going for it. So if the needle gives me a small bug to avoid a pandemicesque event, so be it. As long as I get my snooze in.
So, as a result, it's been quiet here in this space. I've kept half an eye on about seven movies, five football games and the Leafs against the Habs but I have not had much to say from it all. The best was the UNC loss to Maryland. I am hoping to find myself at a crab shack in Maryland in 2006 so I am now a Terps fan. Sort of. All that laying around got me thinking about how, lately, a number of bloggers have packed it in blaming fatigue or lack of time. I'm starting to wonder how it is I have anything to write about. I am coming up on 2500 posts since April 2003 - about 1000 a year or 3 a day. Watching me post these posts day after day is a bit surprising as, like with this post, I usually sit down with no idea what I will say. If that is the case, I can hardly claim fatigue or lack of time as I really do not make time to do with writing. Even now I am writing this sentence but really paying more attention to the plot of the show on the TV - can you tell when I am doing that? With such a small investment of attention from me I wouldn't know why I would pack this in.
One last thing. The GX40 Nation map is working out well even if it doesn't allow for Korean members. What's that about? Anyway, sign up if you like. There are no fees and not really any benefits.

The only fun part is uploading images. Bug alert: photo was added twice.
