How bizzare for someone raised in a Scots household with all our wee strange voodooistic, trolls under bridges, knock on wood to wake the tree spirits of good will, changling and selkie believing, spin all the clocks at New Years habits. For we Scots Presbyterianism (and lesser forms of organized faith) is like clothing - underneath we are all pagan and want to see the burning wheel roll into the sea each fall. We pour whisky on friends' graves for God's sake!
