Another day, another poll but this one has some real oomph. In the big numbers, it plays out like this:
Tory: 31%Within Quebec, the Bloc Quebecois has 56% support to the Liberal's 16%.
Grit: 27%
NDP: 20%
Green: 7%
In the most important numbers, however, we learn this about who Canadians would ask to dinner:
Harper (Tory): 19% (-12%)So only Layton would be invited to dinner by folks who would not vote for him and Harper is not trusted with the silver by around 40% of those who would vote for him. What is astounding to me is how Quebecers reject Duceppe's company. What is so unlovable about him in Quebec. What did he say last time he was over?
Martin (Liberal): 23% (-4%)
Layton (NDP): 25% (+5%)
Duceppe in Quebec (BQ): 35% (-21%)
