This is when I want a better camera. This is also when I want to kick myself for not setting the camera I have to 3.2 pixels rather than 1.2. The day was so clear that the Adirondack mountain ridges to the east stood out clearly in layers. I was told you could see to Blue Mountain, which rises almost 3800 feet almost due east of Denmark, but I was seeing a heck of a lot of layers of peaks and could imagine this day the view went farther.

Looking NW from the highland above Watertown on Rt 126 coming back from Carthage. Somewhere out there is someone looking back from Kingston through binoculars. Next time I'm going to have to remember if I can pick out this old town.<p><center><img src="images/2005a/blue15.JPG" vspace="20"></center>
