Is I was not born rich. See, I make the right moves but just not with enough magnification. On May 9th I bought a share in Google. One. So far, over ten weeks it is up 19%. If I had started with a million shares, I could retire today on just that decision made ten weeks ago. That is what bugs me about me.

Ah, but if you could afford a million shares, you'd already be able to retire...

But you'd get greedy and would'nt want to sell. Remember Nortel?
I'm up over 10% so far this year on a broad set of investments I've been building. Alas I can't retire early either yet... *sigh*
Unfortunately it takes money to make money.... it's the building the money part that just takes too darn long!

I bought Nortel at like 1.20 and sold at 4 once. That was sweet. Then I spent it on moving expenses - yeah!!!

Nortel is still a bad word for me. Thousands of dollars down the tubes, never to be seen again.

Buy breweries. Historical low now. Buy breweries with after tax profit of 50%. They are out there.

That's not even in the top three of things that bug me about you.

Well, seeing as this is not about your feelings but mine we can leave that to another day.

Aah, grown-ups! Must be nice. I'm still at the point of paying off loans, but faster - I "save money" by not paying more interest! It's beautiful, but somehow I don't have any more money as a result of saving some...
I wonder what the bank does with all that money I give them every month... They probably buy Google.

They loan it to me to buy consumer indurables.
