It begins. Summer road trip hunting for snack shacks and vendors of high-test SPF lotions. Today we head south to Watertown, Lowville, Boonville past deep forest towns with the word "port" in the name due to misguided canal development and on down #12 before cutting east on #8, the lower Adirondack crossing which I have never seen before. I like a road that takes a 25 mile wow to get out of the way of a mountain. Then to Lake George Village for mini-putt, here for supper and some serious inquiries into Humblebub's teen years. Sunday we advance to the Atlantic.
Attack cats have been armed.

I was there two weeks ago. Suspect they may still be talking about me. I would put you in touch with some of my friends, but I fear that you would never be the same.

Good Lord! I am travelling with the kids!!! I just fear what they put in the frozen custard in such places.
