Me, I'm not from anything any more. That's what happens when your parents move to a new town (well, actually an old town, as it was the one they grew up in) the summer before your third year of university. However, I grew up in Saint John (the singular one), went to school in Montreal, and now reside in Toronto. I found your blog by accident a couple months ago and must say I rather enjoy it.

Hey - nice to meet you guys.

I never know there was really a place called Tipecanoe. But I am a water based creature living here only because of the big lakes. I never move inland which is likely a big loss to me so I never learn about what is going on in the Indianas or Manitobas.

Well, I guess I can introduce myself, I have hung around silently long enough. I found your blog through my good friend, junkstore cowgirl. I find your subjects interesting - yet I have to confess, I really don't like beer or politics! But I live right near the southern shore of Lake Ontario (about 150 feet away from it). And I am interested in Canada - my daughter lives there!

Hi Allan:

Long time no see. I went to King's, graduated in '88.
I found your site from a link from another site. I have been reading your page for over a year, I guess before you hit the "big time" with your hit counts. Good site so keep up the good work!

Holy Smoke! I hear all about your brother through "portland" - are you still in the little TO?

Remember, "Tippecanoe and Tyler, too".
