While there is a decent chance this is being misstated, doesn't this CBC PEI report seem to indicate that the Canadian Red Cross is not collecting new tsunami relief money anymore? If this is due to the Red Cross being a first response sort of agency, they really ought to redirect people to the longer-haul sorts of agencies if that is what the people wish. If not, are they indicating that there is now enough money for the entire reconstruction? The Tsunami Help blog seems to think the need is still there.

Sad. Sad. Sad. And contradictory to what the good folk of the PEI Red Cross stated at the end of January.<p>Practically nothing has been done for Aceh.

More sad pathetic allegations about the lack of tsunami relief - only unkept promises.
