I have given a lecture to GIS students at Queens on the legal issues (not to mention security issues) posed by space-based mapping on the web and given myself the heebee-geebees when I tell them where the technology they will be using will take them in the span of their career. Well, the future is pretty much now with Keyhole and Google just bought it. Get a seven day trial and scare yourself after you maybe even see yourself. The hop from city to city is worth the cost of the thing itself. Very Joe 90. This is a view of the toll booth at the I-90 and I-95 west of Boston.

What's eerie about that isn't so much the detail, as _when_ it's from. Can see my parents' house from just before I graduated, and my college dorm from just before I handed in my thesis. It got me thinking about how I didn't know what was going on around me...

This is both creepy and pretty fabulous. No Scottish detail yet, but nevertheless a fascinating programme. Kept me up and distracted from the high winds most of the night
P.S. Shame about your cup progress.
