Via Michael, it is sad to see another cartoon accused of promoting family values other than the families valued by the people who are at it, you know, valuing families at some kind of family-valuing headquarters in Washington DC:
The not-yet-aired episode of "Postcards from Buster" shows the title character, an animated bunny named Buster, on a trip to Vermont – a state known for recognizing same-sex civil unions. The episode features two lesbian couples, although the focus is on farm life and maple sugaring.I thought it was bad when they showed the freakish bunny male living with the freakish doggie lady - but four freakish undefined two-dimensional cartoon animal ladies sugar shacking in the Green Mountain state! Now I worried. That'll destroy the nation. Hey - I got some Green Mountain coffee from a family of apparent value in New York state...
which lies along side the Green Mountain state. Don't you see? Isn't it obvious?!?Now I am really confused. When you put "Val Hugh" into Google images you get this picture of three men from this web site. I am getting really confused about values. But I am sure it is important. It's gotta be.

Hey, we here in New York are proud to subvert the agenda of the religious right any way we can. But they'll need to drink something stronger than Green Mountain coffee to get over themselves.

Swap him for Barney - why do't they ever go after Barney? He' the real creep. I watched M.J. Fox being asked about (if you can imagine) Bustergate and he was oddly less firm about it. He went into how we all an respect love and commitment and that's how he's raising the kids. He failed to point out..IT'S A CARTOON!!! He also neglected to point out it is representation of free people doing legal things of their choice. Why is this not the McCarthy moment of "have you no shame" - except...they do not. Wicked false prophets. Give me Buster over the false prophets any day.

Sometimes I wonder about people. If you don't think a show's appropriate for your kids - for whatever reason - move your thumb to the appropriate button on your remote and press it to change the channel.
Presto! Disaster averted! Child's fragile mind spared!
