Sometimes I think blogs should sound like single sideband radio, that technological cheat which only transmits half the arc of the radio wave waiting for the receiver mirror to catch it and, if a fancy model, duplicate that half wave, reversing one of them and stitching the all back together. It makes humans sound like a nasally duck in exchange for getting the message across - to the credit of the new Battlestar Gallactica it is the sound they use for the spaceship to spaceship radio. Simple trusted technologies can just work...just like blogs can get the typed worlds from our sometime correspondent Ben to us from his uncle's place in Kathmandu Nepal where he has found himself on holiday.

I'm probably being presumptuous, but... Maybe Ben will let you post some photos of Nepal right now either here on your blog or even on his own blog (assuming he trusts you to do this for him). I'm just wondering because he can e-mail, but says he can't post photos because he doesn't have picassa. Just tell me to bud out and I will.
