So, I do go on but the best thing about Picasa (Google's photo editing and librarianing widgeewahoozits) is the idea that you can look quickly through the entire pictoral database on your computer making shots I have in there that I have never gotten around to doing anything easy to find. Sounds lame but no. The one above is from the Thousand Island Bridge as I slowed to a crawl in the summer traffic waiting to get back in north. NYCO rightly noted that they do not have a sizing tool on it which is weird. This means I do everything I can with the Picasa features then save it to be sized with MS Paint. Lame and annoying but free. I like free.
But there are some weird icons like the beenie to the left for "show histogram and camera information" - is it like only brainiacs need that info?? - and the one of the right that on every other peice of software in history means "center justification" but here means "show/hide caption"...that one makes the beenie make sense.
