Johnny Canuck: "Get out the way, give me the ball:
I am big - you're only small."
Canadians actually do speak in elementary school verse when sporting.
Anyway...so, sure it was against Northern Ireland who have been awful for years but we did not have micccch-ty Tomaaaaaaasz Radzinski and we were down to 10 men after 20 minutes. Radzinski's condition has recently been described by Fulham, his EPL club, as:
Tomasz Radzinski came off towards the end of the Southampton game complaining of tightness in his buttock which we later diagnosed as a minor muscle strain. He has responded well to subsequent treatment and stands a good chance of being available, subject to the successful completion of a fitness test.Oh dear. I hope my boss isn't putting stuff like that about me on the information superhighway. And...ummm...doesn't one have to designate left or right when speaking in the singular? Which ever it is I trust it will be well healed before it gets a kicking in Portugal next month.

In other words they didn't want Radzinski playing the friendly. Was a good win for Canada, although the Northern Irish dominated most of the play with the canadians down a man they still played a strong defensive game. The Irish hit a goal post near the end, but other than that it was just simply great defending by the Canucks.
