The US government has barred the Cuban team, likely the best or at least one of the very best national teams in the world from the World Baseball Classic, despite the general acceptance that sports and politics have no place in bed with each other.

OK, I know...but it is time to bring them into Toronto and run the other teams through Canada to ensure the winner has some claim to fame after all this is done. Oddly, China is still in...you remember, don't you?
