The internets are slow this morning as am I from an achy soccer-wracked corps. Why does the web slog sometimes so that my high-speed is like ice station #17 bad dial-up? Radio silence much of the day as we are off to the 3rd and 1st birthdays party of the neices.

Where I am right now (Shediac NB) at the 'rent's cottage, the dial-up is quite snappy, and the absence of Stan carew on morning radio only means that we are all talking with each other more. Now if only the electricity could go off and the water suppy go dry.

I don't know who your provider is, but Aliant was down on PEI yesterday (may still be) - tech support was advising people that ie was an Island wide outage and that service might return in the late afternoon.
Eastlink, Summerside Community Network and Allstream did not suffer the same outage.

It did not matter as I was outside internet nerd activity. Played poker with Bud drinkers who preferred NASCAR over the soccer game on the big screen. Horseshoed in the beam of a car light across a lawn. Ate a number of meats.
