One of the best things about visiting is snooping around other people's houses. Things I have learned include:
- In America, you can buy Canadian-style white bread.
- Fruit-scented children's shampoo is more fun to walk around smelling like that the boring stuff you brought.
- I can make coffee in a stove top perculator without burning the house or waking the hosts.
- Lasagna does do better with a separate pot of extra sauce made available on the table.
- Paper shredders cost 12 bucks in the USA.
- My perculator coffee includes significant amounts of solids.

Here are some of my snooping discoveries:
-Most women have too many beauty products. (most not all).
-Medicine cabinets are too loud when opening and closing.
-Night tables are catch-alls for garbage.
-Bookshelves always include some lit-shit.
Some of best snooping memeories are from when I was a teenager and used to babysit for different families in the nieighbourhood. Trés juicy stuff!
