I believe the legal and political phrase from this little tid bit from the Gomery inquiry is called YIKEE-DOODLES!
Brault also spoke of a meeting he had when Joe Morselli, a close friend of Gagliano, took over fundraising duties for the party in Quebec. Brault says he was asked to meet Morselli in an Italian restaurant and leave envelopes with thousands of dollars in cash for the party on a chair. "I went up to go to the bathroom," he said. "When I got back, the money was gone."There it was...gone.

Didn't you have an entry recently about a woman who found a suitcase with money?

I got this in my inbox yesterday:
Dear Don,
The Liberal Party of Canada has many leaders. Some of them are elected - and many are behind the scenes giving their time, effort and financial support to ensure Canada continues to thrive and prosper like it has over the past decade under a strong Liberal government. You are one of these "leaders" whose continued support is key to our future success.
....
Canada is working. But as we move forward to strengthen our country, we are well aware our adversaries may attempt to topple the government and send us back to the polls.
While your Liberal government is committed to continue working for Canada everyday, the Party must prepare for an election call at any time. That's why we are proud to unveil our newly created Liberal Leaders monthly giving program.
I am writing to invite you to become one of the first Liberal Leaders to sign on. For as little as $15 a month (that's 50 cents a day), your ongoing monthly support will provide us with a steady source of funds throughout the year to mount winning campaigns on a moment??s notice and strengthen our social and economic policies.Together, let's keep Canada working. Please join me today and become a Liberal Leader with your most generous gift possible. Simply click on the "Liberal Leaders" button below for full details and sign up today!
With thanks,

Thanks to everyone who has already signed on.
Please become a Liberal Leader today!
Mike Eizenga
President, Liberal Party of Canada
Could you imagine being someone thinking of going for a nomination this spring and going door to door for support and money! Ouch.

Hmm, Googling your site doesn't find anything - nevermind.
It probably will get more interesting - an Italian restaurant!
