Last night I had to deal with a Romanian manual comment spammer but it was somewhat human and sad.
I noticed on comment spam around 9:30 pm and deleted it. I was on-line about 45 minutes later when another one popped up and I deleted it. Same message and same IP. The poor guy then proceeded to leave the same spammy comment starting with the first day of a month a year ago and every minute added another. I just went along behind and deleted them as soon as they were posted. After about fifteen minutes there was a break during with it felt like he was ticked that none of his spamming was still there after which he started at that same original starting point and did about eight more which I again deleted in turn. Another break. Then two more. Deleted. He stopped.
So is there a Romanian office building full of manual spammers getting 25 cents a spam who check in with their supervisor if they are being deleted too quickly? It was like dealing with on-line unsupport.

I'm surprised at the amount of manual spamming that goes on. Every once in a while my blog gets "discovered" by somebody. I just say "Hey thanks, this gives me a chance to close off the comments in dusty areas of my blog." Every time they put in one spam, I close off ten more comment areas.

The automated ones are the worst.

I like to think of them as one person with a latin name like Manuel Spamio.

I think the Lords that be behind my blog have to automated ones well in hand as I have never suffered that indignity.

Interesting.
That reminds me. Have you considered the advantages of Emu Oil?
It is a proven natural wonder.
Emu Oil has been used for thousands of years by the Aborigines of Australia to reduce the pain & swelling of arthritis, heal wounds & burns including sunburns, and to reduce the pain, itch & swelling of insect bites and stings.
Emu Oil is natural & non-toxic, non-comedogenic (does not clog pores), hypo-allergenic (non-irritating) and gentle for all skin types.
Emu Oil is an effective anti-inflammatory. The potency of the anti-inflammatory effect from Emu Oil is similar to ibuprofen without the negative side-affects frequently common with traditional prescription or corticosteroid based anti-inflammatory medications.
Be a Canadian patriot and buy Emu Oil.
