A right dreary old day for Chuck and...is there a nice-ish nickname for her? "Fourth cousin" is the one that keeps popping in to my head. I am glad I led the life of a saint before the day of my happy vows and did not have to undergo this sort of thing:

Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles, who have faced calls to apologise for having been "unfaithful" to their former spouses, are to acknowledge their "manifold sins and wickedness" at a church service that will follow their wedding on Saturday. Prince Charles has pointedly selected a confession from the 1662 A.D. Book of Common Prayer which reads: "We acknowledge and bewail our manifold sins and wickedness which we, from time to time, most grievously have committed, by thought, word and deed... .We do earnestly repent, and are heartily sorry for these misdoings."

So for doing what something like 1/3 of married folk end up doing, they get roasted on the spit - their wedding day treated like a purification ritutal. Poor pointless royals. Bewail away.
