A clear night tonight. I really need a zoom as with the binoculars you can see separate lights of Watertown, NY. That's the orange-ish blog to the left of the base of the three whites one above each other next to the eight red lights in a grid seen in the detail below. Both sides of the St. Lawrence at this point are a hot bed of antennae of one sort or another, Wolfe Island alone having what look like two listening set-ups aiming south sort of like smaller versions of the Radio Canada International broadcast curtains at Sackville, New Brunswick. We listen...they listen...
Many are simply towers for cell phones or emergency services. It would be good to have a map identifying all the towers and their functions like you have for the flahing bouys and lighthouses across the Lake and down the river but I fear even making a post like this might get the attention of the men who watched grannie. These are troubled times.
