Note added 20 Oct.: I am getting a lot of hits to this page during the Sox-Yankees ALCS series. Here is the link to MLB you are looking for to get this web radio service. If you are in eastern North America get out the transistor you have laying around and check out 880 WCBS AM out of New York, NY, a pretty strong station, for the Yankees broadcast. Try WTIC 1080 AM in Hartford, Conn., a somewhat weaker signal, for the BoSox broadcast. Both have fair and knowledgable announcing teams. A decent radio should get you the Cardinal broadcasts out of St. Louis on KMOX 1120 AM. Remember, the sun has to be down where you are and where the station is for the long distance night time listening to kick in.
I have listened to baseball on radio as long as I can remember. I got my first decent radio, a little gem of a Sony AM portable, when I was in grade four or so and with the great reception in Maritime Canada many evenings were spent following the east coast games. What with the web and because baseball is so much about the stats, the experience can be a little immersive. Here is the screen shot from tonight's Red Sox v. Yankees game at Fenway in Boston. I could listen on WTIC 1080 plenty clear but I thought I would sign up for the free end of season offer as long as I give my address to get a few free issues of Sports Illustrated on trial.
Five to five in the 8th, by the way.

Weeks later. Getting masses of hits from Google for "web radio baseball" and even "baseball (on) radio". I am ranked one, two or three even ahead of MLB's own site. I have no idea why but I added more information at the top of the post to help those in need to the promised land. Hope it helps.
See below for an example of the refer logs tonight:
