In the National League next year that is. Good news from the seemingly remarkably sensible Red Sox heading into the post-season:
Though the Red Sox still don't know who they will be playing in the postseason, manager Terry Francona's pitching rotation is starting to come into focus. And Derek Lowe, who began the year as the team's No. 3 starter, will be the odd man out. Francona announced after Friday night's win over the Orioles that Bronson Arroyo and Tim Wakefield will be his Game 3 and 4 starters. While Curt Schilling will start Game 1 and Pedro Martinez will go in Game 2, there is no firm order between Arroyo and Wakefield."I can live with that. Was Francona an Expo? Nice to see the Yankees closing up with some classics, losing last night 0-7 to the team that should have moved.

yes he was. he was gonna win a couple of batting titles too, be a guy that carried us to the promised land. all expo fans remember and harbor some degree of affection for terry. he was that good. but like all things expo (his story is literal, the expos story is metaphorical) he caught his cleats in the warning track one hot july night in st louis (i was at the A&W listening) and ripped his knee into two seperate pieces. he went on to have a mediocre career with a bunch of clubs.
