Did The Netherlands hold a 12 1/2th party for the United Nations on 24 April 1959? That was on of my favorite Dutch things, being at a co-employee's 12.5th anniversary at the job.

But indeed, we (the Dutch) tend to celebrate 12,5 years anniversaries. :-)

SayNay: You mean Spinoza, Descartes, Voltaire and a host of other free-thinking people that in one way or another influenced the US independency struggle?
