I often wonder at some of the incidental buildings of Kingston, the repurposed. This one just up Queens street from St. Paul's Anglican always catches my eye. The porch's roofline is very Quebec and I wonder if it was some sort of roadhouse when it was first built. It is listed in the Ontario Heritage Properties database, as handy a site for the curious Kingstonian as ever there was. Dig the Coke machine glow in the database photo.
