Not the pool, even if Kerry is. My state senate race is up and I need that wild card. I suspect if any Bush picker chose the wild card right that may be winner. That condition may apply to more than one, however. I will review tonight.

So Kerry and Edwards are out of the Senate, I presume? Seeking office required they not be elegible for Senate, am I right?

I am not sure. I know Edwards stepped down and was replaced by a Republican as his term was up. But wan't Kerry still attending the senate for matters up to a month ago?
