From CBC on the web, I just learned my hockey pool dreams ended last night at about 4:57 am local time.
"This is awesome," enthused Iginla, Calgary's captain. "There hasn't been anything like this that I've experienced in the NHL. It was awesome to see that goal go in." Flames netminder Miikka Kiprusoff made 38 saves to extend his latest shutout string to 149 minutes, 11 seconds. In doing so, he backstopped the sixth-seeded Flames to their first conference finals since capturing the Stanley Cup in 1989.Now I can just watch some good hockey. If it goes as it will go, the Leafs and Avs may well exist tonight leaving three hardly likelies out of four in the last two rounds and Philadelphia not likely to get past Tampa Bay. Tampa versus Calgary is the final I want now: US television's real nightmare but the best and fastest young players in the league.

Brave showing from the Leafs in overtime but no luck, no fluky bounce, no third round. Did I mention that the Lighting's jerseys look like something out of a bad hockey based porn movie set in Florida? Good thing I like their virtual farm team, RRRRRRRRRRReeeeeeeeeeMMMMMmmmmMMMMOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooSSSSSSSSSK-eeeee.
