Caves, man, caves! And this is on the way back.
We are doing #4 across lower VT and NH on Thursday after leaving Saranac Lake that morning. Be there for supp-supps. You scope the bongo shops yet? Where are the big waves? I am going in for sure. The Gulf o'Maine must be 42º F by now...

Howe Caverns
Absolutely - I had forgotten about that. Ask them turn out the lights when you are on the tour. The most amazing blackness you are likely to ever experience.
You are passing through a little early in the year to experience a lot of the 'kids stuff.'

I am fully expecting the caves will create a pre-school nightmare memory similar to mine with the tea cups ride at Disneyland circa 1966:

The horror...the horror...

If you make it to Glens Falls, take Rte 9 North for a few miles and turn left on Aviation Road. (You are now in Queensbury) - take road to end which will take you to Mountain Road. Cross Mountain road and go up dirt road to first left. Park in dirt area and walk to your left into the woods and look for old grave belong to Abagail West. You have now reach the spot where I lost my virginity. Behold and weep.

I knew that was leading to the spinning tea cup thing somehow.
