The Czechs made it look easy and now it is the Czechs against the Greeks and the Portuguese against the Dutch for next Sunday's final. I think the Portguuese have the best chance of beating the Czechs but the Greeks are giant-killers and could steal one on 1 July. Given the fact that Liverpool has Owen and Baros, it is stunning that Owen is not the one warming the bench.

The Czechs made it look easy
As expected they reached the semis. For a split second I thought that the Danish might be able to, well, beat them. Weird moment in the game: in the 15th minute, when the Danish were in the penalty box. For a split moment I was thinking 'Kluivert turns, abruptly and *SCORES*'. The Danish missed a real forward.

interestingly, the danes controlled the ball something like 69% of the time, but i sometimes wondered if anyone but gravesen would try to win any loose balls. the czechs really did make it look easy, the last 2 goals looking absolutely effortless.
