The Flea is celebrating the Canadian Red Ensign and I thought I would join in and extend the cheers to red ensignness itself. Here are some of my favorites, although we all know that the greatest of all was the subject of one of my first posts here at Gen X at 40 - from way back when I was actually 40.

And here it is...<blockquote><img src="images/2004/ca-nf_ce.gif"></blockquote>Cape Breton was its own colony until 1835 or so. I wonder if it ever had its own ensign?
