How many assaults, broken windows, smashed cars, cuts and broken bones will this result cause. Dare I say, had the results of the game had been reversed, it would have had no effect on the amount of said assaults etc. What is it with soccer? Is it a European thing, or are these fans using the game to make up for some other inadequecies? One assault in hockey gets twice as much coverage as 20 riots caused by someones soccer team losing 1-0. And, why don't they make the nets bigger so we can see some scoring? Watching people run back and forth with a ball sailing over their heads for 60 minutes needs something(cheerleaders?). Just a minute, I think I made soccer sound like golf. At least they don't burn cars when Thrill Phil misses a 2 footer..

It's all been light on the rioting so far and with England out it is unlikely to pick. Partying on the Danforth, however, is up.
