I got an email...no...a Gmail from John Boy about rigging the Sony P-32 direct into the hard drive off the computer rather than the camera's memory stick to record movies directly on to his computer hard drive. A worthy question. My 64 MB stick can be limiting if I want to take a bunch of movies to post here. The one GB memory stick costs about as much as the electric guitar I need. If I had a laptop computer it would make great sense to have the camera as an adjunct off of its hard drive rather than having one small hard drive feed the other larger one.
I had to tell him I have no idea other than the camera came with its own software so the option would have to be available there. Within half a second I was thinking of other things I need rigging up and high on the list is a better AM/FM antenna, like the illustrated sweetie, the Terk AM/FM PI-B. My desire to hear more and hear more clearly has been noted and, after Good Shep Ruk's newbie wowwie kazzowie about skips, I am reminded again of my need to harness the power of international wireless technology. Which brings me to Universal Radio's internet catalog. Pure geekery of the highest order and I love it. Maybe I'll sign up for the ODXA again, too.
