After all the after the fact Monica in the crowd photos, all I can think of is what happened when he was alone in the oval office with the person in the green circle?

It makes me wish there was no 22nd Amendment. Contrary to popular opinion on the right, I think Bill Clinton was an inspiring man and a great President. Much of the asleep at the switch stuff applies to every government in the western world and most of the Republican House membership who attempted a constitutional coup over infidelity.
Now putting on flame-baffling asbestos suit...

Me agree with the flea.

To the flea: It all depends on what your meaning of "is" is..., ya, we needed more of that sh*t.

To counter, I wonder if the Repubs will trot out some tapes of that old charmer Nixon(maybe the tape of him bashing that youngster who "sounds like a Kennedy" Kerry etc.?) Ya think it'd work?

I think that is an interesting question. The Democrats are staking the position that they are tougher and it is working. Ususally the story is they are smarter (which is usually true) but that is not very attractive to the unsmart. Then we have the debate about half-assed interpretations of economic theory in which neither are right.
So what do the Republicans say as an alternative vision to the reasonably sustainable tougher Democratic line.

It was meant to be rhetorical, but thanks for the thoughtful reply. I agree, but not Nixon - more of (how did you describe him? oh,ya!)"Ronnie Ray
Gun"!
The picture of Clinton reminds of the family drunk, just out of rehab, all "shined up" in his new suit, being greeted by his loving family members - while he's still eyeing the liquor cabinet. I agree with portland.

I still think the guy in the green circle is creepy.
SayNay? - July 30, 2004 1:13 pm

While I have never seen portland in yellow tinted shades, I am starting to picture it...
