While I am on the topic of nice heritage signs, here is a favorite from the corner of Wellington and Barrack Streets in Kingston. I had no idea that Canada's heritage of booze and figure skating were so closely tied. Goes to show you. Meagher's now appears to be but a brand of liqueurs in the line of Corby Distilleries Ltd., decended from the Corbys of Corbyville near Belleville (but now located in Montreal and owned by UK drinks giant Allied Domecq PLC) who couldn't put together two double toe loops if their lives depended on it.
