I appear to have lost a couple of day's worth of stuff. Umm...to summarize:
- Avril had a funny face that made me think of Smedly after having too much...ummm
- Support Middlesborough and ...ahhh...because of this, this and this - especially for the pale pink tie on a pale pink shirt thing
- The US Court of Appeal says that ISPs intercepting the content of your emails is A-OK.
- Oh and that one called "Importance" in which I told the thrilling tale of how the internet makes everything worth following up on so nothing is as important relatively speaking any more. I made Nils head hurt.
All gold. All gone. I noticed the site was down last night and it matters zippo. In the great scheme...or even in the little one...this is chaff of the chaffiest sort. About as much as the fact that we won 2-0 last night and I missed a wide open goal on the first time. Oh, I recall the reply posts had some key comments about BBQ including this about Cornell Chicken, something about the Bar B Barn in Montreal and speidies in Binghampton.
Off to Cape Vincent and the Napoleon parade.

From portland - captured by Bloglines - came these observations:<blockquote class="smalltext">"are you selling her t-shirts?"</blockquote>and <blockquote class="smalltext">"its not a long winter; you think about all the baseball you've seen."</blockquote>on Avril and Middlesborough respectively indicating by their time line of 8:30 pm last night that it was up then. Oh, yea. I also made a post about the Nova Scotian fish shirts over here. Oh my beautiful fish:<blockquote><img src="images/2004/nsfish3h.jpg"></blockquote>

I noticed this AM, and wondered if the server that's hosting GenX had hiccups or something or that my browser was fetching data straight from the cache.

It was more than a case of the hiccups sadly. Al, I check your ICQ.

Amazingly, through the non-stop work of teams of scientists, the posts have been recovered.
