Given all the Nova Scotia snow talk and pictures recently , I thought I would add one more picture received yesterday by email from a friend. For a little while I could not even identify the object, my brain not latching on to its scale.
Later: Here is the story of the digging out of the truck.

From where I am (Ottawa) you would never know that PEI was on par with Nova Scotia concerning all the latest in snow storms. "Poor Nova Scotia", but no mention of "Poor PEI". I guess PEIer's don't whine as much...

I thought the opposite. Halifax had two days of curfew and more snow. But maybe that was a Juan holdover. If you look at Arthur's site (right) his photos from Truro look more like PEI's hit than Halifax.<p>The funniest post I say was from an email loop I am in of Ottawa homebrewers called "The Members of Barleyment" in which someone had an email called "Stuck in Halifax" with the lamentation that he could not find a place to get a beer! His Spidey sense was clearly turned off.

By the way did you see that Craig has linked to a post by a visitor from Scotland with that perspective. Only a Scot would think to pack 2000 ciggies!

Halifax did get more snow, but they had none to begin with...a stark contrast to PEI and NB.

It is an 18 wheeler which drove off the road, is on its side then covered with snow. I am glad it was not only my eyes - but I suppose after doing a Carnival of Canucks you have the right to claim some screen strain on the eyeballs.

I noticed that the people around the area of Brookfield-South Branch-Musquidoboit didn't have as much snow as over in Truro. I wonder if it had to do with the mountains over there.
