You may have noticed that I removed the link to my referral logs to the right. Thanks to some blogspot dorks as well as johnkerry's pals at aol.com, it has become fairly useless as a tool for figuring out how the day was going in terms of reader interest. Once I realized it had become a bit pointless, I also realized I have been checking it far too often - a little obsessive, a little compulsive so let's just call it obsessive-compulsive.
It is interesting how technologies can drive purposelessness - it's somewhat implicit, like lawyers who decide to bill by the hour and then become subject to the noose of the timesheet. Getting rid of such things is the only way you sometimes see how they were not important in the first place. What else do I or you not need to do?

Get rid of all the lawyers?

"Things" would have to equal "lawyers" for your grammatical indictment to stick. I was thinking more of bells and whistles.

Thanks again spammers as the gap in the blogspot posts inform that this blog was down for about 3 hours. I guess Eastlink's cable to PEI, where my blog's server sits, was down this morning.

Peter Ruk (aka DJ Snazzy Ol' Shep') pins it down to a battle between a Mack and a Wire. Ingenious lack of back-up or redundency. What is two hours of a cut off province worth?
