I am hoping to get into weekend travelling this summer a fair bit and will look south as well as north for stuff to do nearby. So what is there to plan to do this summer across the border in the land of first prize hots?
- minor league baseball games
- Black River Kayak Rodeo over at Watertown
- Red and Black Minor League Football
- camping at state parks in the Thousand Islands
- the 187th Jefferson County Fair
The "I-Heart-N-Y" site is pretty good for this stuff. Any suggestions out there?
Later: I understand I may find myself here on Cape Cod at some point, too, if Portland is to be believed.

I clearly said it in the nature of a man hearing a prophet for the first time - could I believe my ears? Is the promised land soon a comin'? That sorta stuff.
I'm liking the Auburn Doubledays if only for the name but lets hook up at Burlington. How about 26th June - a Saturday - for the Staten Island game?
