Steve Garrity has put up some photos of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island after the so called "Weather Bomb" that hit. According to CBC radio from Halifax it will be Monday before roads are cleared there. Craig Willson on the North Shore of PEI is running out of smokes after exhausting the last of the homebrew beers I gave him. Rob Paterson has lost his septic system.

The Rukster has some good photos as well...and an apparently municipal-union-busting snow-clearing neighbour!

But Nova Scotians and One Permanent Resident struck back hard and direct. Legend has it that the Snow Forces were outrun by a guy with a red hair and a red nose over at the Ponderosa. Go, Truro, Go Truro!

Happy to report that following close to 4 hours of labour the Outback is free from the drift and the corner store is open. Smokes have been replenished and I have enough Australian wine to keep the monkey under control.

And word on the street is we're getting some more snow tomorrow night. A possible 25 more centimeters. Get the cameras ready.

Mike has some great coverage of "White Juan" from Halifax. There is a curfew of 11 pm for God's sake. I don't know what to think about that. On the one hand, as it is the first time ever, it must be that serious. On the other, who should give a rat's ass if I want to make snow angels on the Commons at 3 am?
