If I had more money than sense, I'd load up on 1970s vintage adidas sneakers, like the pair below or one of the others seemingly always available on eBay, kept hermetically sealed by careful collectors for decades, wearing them out proudly through the course of my daily perambulations as I did 30 years ago.
