What ever happened to the "Day Glo Abortions" (1986 to ?) with such catchy album titles as "Here Today, Guano Tomorrow", "Two Dogs F*cking" and the appropriately titled(for a Canadian group) "Little Man In The Canoe"?

Hey! How do you know about the DayGlos? I have one tape with (excuse me, gentle readers) "My Shit Stinks", "Hide the Hamster" and the particularly good "Fuck Satan to Death". The summer of 1991 when an Ottawa police officer tried to get it banned as obscene I made sure I had my copy.

Where in the hell was I in the mid 80's? Damn, I've never heard of any of these people, not that I'd want to become familiar with "My Shit Stinks" LOL

Alan -

Its kind of a skate-thrash-punk ditty and fit the bill for me at 27.

Loved the DayGlo. Best name in rock music history. I posted on the Acordion Guy's site but I'd figure I'd throw this book out there: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1550224751/104-4995655-1330333?v=glance

It's incredibly comprehensive, telling you all you need to know about the greatest age in CanRock memory.

Now I know "that Alan guy" on peiinfo.com owns a Dayglo Abortions album. I love learning new things about people. I haven't really read any more of your blog (can I call it a blog?) yet, but this is a particularly cool tidbit of info. =)

I meant to add...

I totally lmao at: "Excuse me, gentle readers)

Glad to know I was once cool, chem. I know that casette is something of a ticking time bomb having kids and all but one should not deny one's younger days as a headbanger as one goes off to work in a suit and tie.
