While at the fair, we took the advice of NYCO and used the horse show to get in out of the sun. And the timing was perfect because there was the miniature horse pulling cart competition right ahead of us. Here are a couple of short short movies:
NYCO in her take "Our State Fair" noticed that the Canadian flag was displayed in unusual honour, as high as and between the NY state flag and the stars and stripes. I found the space fairly reminiscent of the Appleton Arena in Canton as a well preserved wooden ceilinged public space. I never thought I would have a thing for the arcing wooden roof with rows of identical light fixtures.
