I've written about Memorial Hall before. Here are a couple more of the stained glass panels. Not only did Sir John A. lay in state in the room, but it is Canada's greatest testimony in art to the war dead of 1914 to 1918. With the advent the Red Ensign Bloggers, I want to do a better job providing you with a sense of the place, largely unaltered - though subject to an Abba-like refit in the mid-70s. I really should get some scaffolding into the room.
By the way, I noted tonight that one of the R.E.B.s is Myrick in Singapore. I hope he and the Zed-lad, brother to Lil' Zed, have a sling in Raffles for me soon.

Thank's for the link - though it's Myrick (my surname) and not Rick. I may pass on the slings, but would indeed find it keen to hook up with lil' Zed for a beer.
best, Chris
