Does it serve any purpose anymore? I use it to:

• gather spam for me
• be provided at times of registration to then advise that now I do not what the newsletter sent to it,
• provide me with a New York Times once a day because I am too lazy to link it to my site
• give and receive eBay and paypal confirmations

It has become a vestige of my technical past. When will it stop or will it be live Morse Code, clubs of the undating emailing each other rather than clicking out dots and dashes? Why do cats knock fans over in the night and get me thinking about the uselessness of email?
