The trip from Montreal to Moncton started at 6:45 pm and ended at 1:15 pm the next day looping 1350 km down the St. Lawrence to the beginning of the Gaspe and down to the south east of New Brunswick. I was nicely located in a deluxe double bedroom to myself. Something like living in a walk-in closet by yourself for 20 hour but with a shower attached to it. Too bad it got me to Moncton. The warning signs started freakin' me out by mid-morning.
The little shower man, third from the left, is my favorite as I think it really looks like a guy singing in spotlight. Some short short films of the trip:

Man. You really need to learn to compress your movies. 2 MB for 5 seconds of NB trees?

I missed most of those signs on my train trip to Moncton but I suppose that's because I was slumming it in econo class and was doorless, showerless and AC vent free.

Michael - I had seven hours of it. You can put up with 2 MB of it. But you are right, I don't know how to do it. I just copy the file from the handy dandy Sony P-32.
Ben - I had to jump immediately in to the folks van and drive back for two days so there was no way I was going in steerage and learning how quickly I could come to hate other humans. It was called a "renaissance train" which apparently referred to the Renaissance era seeing the end of observation cars and bar cars on trains. There was the old snack car sort of thing that they had in the 1980s but it was set up so you were not really facing anyone else. I was actually hoping for one of the old single person rooms but they did not have cars of those either.

Thanks. I only have a 64 MB card so when I go off on trips I have to be frugal.
