The being called Blork in Montreal has a loverly pace of life that only comes with a good city. From his trip to the market yesterday we read:
...today, among other things, we saw tomatoes still dirty from the field, potatoes that smelled of moist earth, and corn straight from the back of the farmer's truck. We also took advantage of the Jean-Talon market's peripheral stores, like the excellent Fromagerie Hamel. We picked up a few cheeses, a peppery saucisson and a nice quail, anise, and pear pâté. At home, we embraced the sunny afternoon and had a highly civilized picnic in the backyard on the deck.Dandy read.
